Emotional Agility

Emotional Agility is an instructor-led training that introduces the concept as a practical skill for navigating challenging workplace situations with greater awareness, balance, and resilience. Participants reflect on moments when their reactions felt automatic, explore common ways people get “hooked” by thoughts and emotions, and learn a simple framework for responding more intentionally rather than reacting impulsively.

Through self-assessment, discussion, video reflection, and partner activities, learners practice:

  • Recognizing recurring patterns of thoughts and emotions

  • Labeling thoughts and feelings more accurately (rather than treating them as facts)

  • Accepting emotions without suppressing or overreacting

  • Choosing responses aligned with personal values and long-term goals

The session emphasizes real-world application at work and concludes with key takeaways and a personal commitment to apply emotional agility in future situations.
